Shree Rudrayanee Secondary School

Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur successfully organized an “Ear listening capability screening Camp” on 22nd November 2025 at the premises of Shree Rurayanee Secondary School, Khokana, Lalitpur. A total of 108 residents of Khokana were screened for various ear and listening problems. The local residents ranging from age 5 to 91 years were benefitted from the Camp, of whom 80% were senior citizens above the age of 70. A total of 39 residents had hearing loss problem, 16 had discharging ear problem, 7 had perforation problems, a number of them had impacted wax and others required simple medication. The screening
as well as medicines were distributed free of cost. A follow-up camp will be organized after three weeks, where free hearing aid devices will be distributed to the residents requiring the device.

Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur sincerely appreciates the expert technical support of Nepal ENT Center, Pulchowk, Lalitpur and the team of Dr. Chandan Baranwal, Dr. Prajjwol Pathak, Audiologist Susan Dahit for making this screening camp a great success. We would also like to thank our partner club -Rotary Club of Patan East for their valuable support, local coordination assistance from the office of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward no.21, RCC Khokna and Interact Club of Shree Rudrayanee Secondary School, along with the management of Shree Rudrayanee Secondary School for providing us the venue for the Camp.
