• A Fire Extinguisher is a handheld active fire protection device usually filled with a dry or wet chemical used to extinguish or control small fires, often in
emergencies.
• Fire extinguishers play a vital role in any fire protection plan in any environment.
• They are a first aid response to fire and can help prevent catastrophic danger to property and even loss of life
• As discussed and agreed upon in RCMEL Regular Weekly Meeting, 6 Fire extinguishers (filled state) was handed over to Wada No 21 by president
• The Wada in Mr. Rabindra Maharjan expressed his gratitude and support that the RCMEL had shown with this gesture. The event took place on behalf of a well-coordinated effort by Rotary Community Corps (RCC) President Mr. Kiran Maharjan. The Fire Extinguisher worth about Nrs. 70000.00 was sponsored by Atullya Foundation.

October 20th 2023: Ethics Symposium Joint Event

• A program with the mission of awakening and advocating for Empowering Ethics
• Event was highlighted with messages from Rt. Hon. President of Nepal and R. Gordon R. McInally President, Rotary International 2023-24
• Host clubs were RCs Chandragiri, Himalaya Patan, Jawlakhel, Jawlakhel Manjushree, Lalitpur Midtown, Mahaboudha, Mount Everest Lalitpur, Patan West Rajdhani and Yala.

September 23rd: Road Safety Awareness Program (Joint with 5 RC clubs)

• At Nepal House, Hattisar
• 6 Clubs joint meeting.
• Talk program delivered by AIGP Mira Chaudhary, Nepal Police.
• There was a lot of Q&A Interaction and discussions

JULY 15th 2023: Tree plantation
Organized at Bagdole-4. Lalitpur Participated by RCMEL 12 members
Guests: 20 (Rotaract 2, Rotarian 1,RCMEL family members, other guests)
108 plants, mostly fruit trees
