Ravi Lamichhane

Dear Rotarians, Friends, and Visitors,

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the President of the Rotary Club of Mount Everest Lalitpur for the Rotary Year 2025–2026. I am grateful for the trust placed in me, and I am excited to lead our club into a year of purposeful service, meaningful connections, and impactful change.

This year, we align with Rotary International’s theme, “UNITE FOR GOOD”, which reminds us of the extraordinary impact we can create when we come together as people of action. Our club is built on a strong foundation of fellowship, integrity, and service above self. As we look ahead, our focus will remain on sustainable community projects, youth empowerment, health initiatives, literacy, and environmental conservation.

We will continue to embrace innovation while honoring Rotary’s core values. I encourage each member to take active part in our initiatives, share ideas, and foster the spirit of inclusivity and compassion that defines our Rotary family. Together, let us build bridges of hope, nurture leadership, and make a lasting difference in the lives we touch. Thank you for being part of this journey. Let us make 2025–2026 a year to remember.

Yours in Rotary Service,

Ravi Lamichhane

Dear Fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors,

Warm greetings to you all.

At the outset, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to every Rotarian, Rotaractor, and Interactor on the commencement of the Rotary Year 2025–26. My best wishes go to all club leaders and members as you embark on a new journey of service and leadership, following the successful completion of Rotary Year 2024–25.

Over the past year, Rotary International, District 3292, and all our clubs have actively served communities through impactful humanitarian initiatives. Your dedication has brought positive change to many lives.

I am truly delighted to share my thoughts and joy with you through our district’s official website and mobile app—reliable platforms that offer timely and relevant Rotary information for District 3292.

Rotary International President for RY 2025–26, Francesco Arezzo, has continued the inspiring presidential theme, “Unite for Good.” This theme highlights Rotary’s unique role in fostering unity in an increasingly divided world and urges us all to be People of Action—committed to making meaningful change. It calls on every Rotarian to come together in service and create a lasting global impact.

As Rotarians, we are united by our commitment to serve those in need. Through our collective efforts, we can uplift communities and bring hope where it is most needed. Although leadership roles in Rotary last only a year, they hold the potential to create a lasting legacy when we work collaboratively and harness the collective strength of our teams and members.

Let us stand united in advancing humanitarian service and in fulfilling both the goals of this year’s presidential theme and the district’s objectives.

Wishing you all a fulfilling and impactful Rotary Year 2025–26.

Yours in Rotary,
Binod Koirala

Rotary is at its best when we foster a sense of inclusion and belonging in our clubs. In fact, I would go so far as to say that belonging is The Magic of Rotary itself.

With a focus on inclusivity and belonging, it is easier to be united in a common purpose. When we are committed to one another and focused on our goals, we are most effective.

Rotary’s Action Plan can help. The Action Plan comes with tools you can use to collect feedback, assess your club’s strengths and weaknesses, and address challenges.

The world is changing, and our clubs can’t afford to stand still. But the changes we make need to be consistent and strategic — building on one another toward a greater vision. The Action Plan can help you work toward that vision and create effective change within your club. Following the Action Plan and addressing suggestions from the community will go a long way to fostering the sense of belonging we want all Rotary members to feel in their clubs.

That’s why expanding our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is so important. Committing ourselves to each other’s well-being is the first step to expanding our reach, allowing us to spread Positive Peace in these troubled times.

Peacebuilding is one of our top priorities, and one of the most effective ways we can build peace is with our Rotary Peace Fellowships, through which peace and development professionals learn how to prevent and end conflict.

We offer the fellowships through our Rotary Peace Centers at leading universities around the globe, where more than 1,800 Rotary Peace Fellows have graduated. And thanks to a $15.5 million gift from the Otto and Fran Walter Foundation, we can continue supporting peacebuilders in more regions with the next peace center at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul.

Opening another peace center is a monumental achievement, and it is my great honor to invite you to celebrate at next year’s Rotary Presidential Peace Conference at the Istanbul center. The three-day conference 20-22 February will highlight the many ways our family of Rotary advances peacebuilding. Registration for the conference is officially open. I hope to see you there.

The 2025 Rotary Presidential Peace Conference has great potential for our peacebuilding efforts — but only if we have your support.

The truth is, we’re not going to bring peace to the world, end polio, or grow membership by waving a wand and saying some funny words. It’s up to you. You create the magic with every project completed, every dollar donated, and every new member inducted.

I love my Rotary family and I know you do too. That’s why I know that together, we can make every club and district simply irresistible. This year, let us change the world by embracing The Magic of Rotary.
